VOLUNTEERS
Many of the programs and projects at the Reserve would not be possible were it not for the work of a dedicated and talented group of volunteers. Volunteers are used extensively in the Outdoor Science Education Program where they serve as teaching assistants. This allows us to keep the cost of the program very low, keep the student/teacher ratio low, and use the talents of people in the community. Volunteers also assist with fundraising, computer projects, digital photography, and on research projects. The website you are reading was constructed and is maintained by a volunteer. Our volunteers take their commitment seriously. If you have time, and the desire to assist the Reserve in this way, please contact the Reserve Director.
