Cooper Lab: Macroinvertebrate Species List for Convict Creek through SNARL

The following list of macroinvertebrates (to genus level) was identified from Convict Creek, within the SNARL boundaries by the laboratory of Dr. Scott Cooper, Department of Ecology, Evolutionary, and Marine Biology, UCSB.

This list reflects previous efforts by Harry Kennedy, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Dr. Harry Leland, USGS, and Dr. David Herbst, SNARL. Taxa noted with a * were not on Dave Herbst's list. Notes also identify instances where Herbst identified a genus not found by Cooper.

Since these identifications took place, the Baetidae family has been revised and the Baetis group may include Fallceon, Diphetor, etc.
